LDA Elite is the competitive program of Liv DanceArts. The program serves to provide personalized training and performance opportunities to further enhance the growth of each selected participant’s dance form and artistry.
Placement is by invitation only .
LDA Faculty assess students once per month in all classes to determine if students are ready for placement. All students must receive at least 3 teacher recommendations for invitation.
Selected participants are placed in the mini, junior, teen and senior age brackets.
Final placement is based on three elements: faculty invitation, dancer application, and formal audition.
The LDA Elite Mission
The Elite program's focus is to further challenge and support dancers who already perform at a technically advanced level for their age category and to those who show potential towards soloist level choreography and performance in ballet, lyrical, contemporary and/or jazz. Along with technical proficiency, dancers selected for participation as either a soloist or apprentice will serve as representatives of the LDA program and must commit to their required technique classes and genres.
LDA Elite prides itself on individualized training focused on each dancer’s specific needs. All decisions made by the Director and Coaches are for the overall health and advancement of the Elite program as a whole - not towards any one individual member’s personal agenda or promotion. Dancers and Parents must be willing to trust their Director and Coaches to make the most sound training decisions and competitive placements for their soloist. Elite program members must have exemplary class behavior, attendance, and attitude and are asked to represent LDA in a positive light inside and outside of the studio at all times.
