The Perfect Balance of Fun and Technique for
3-6 year old Students!
LDA offers Pre-Level classes that provide the perfect balance of structure and creativity! These classes are designed to introduce your child to the world of dance in a nurturing and playful environment all while providing essential technical training from the start.
We believe in the importance of building a strong foundation from day one, which is why our Pre-Level classes focus on introducing basic technical movements, terminology, and body awareness through fun, age-appropriate activities. Your little one will enjoy creative movement games, fun prop work, and the joy of dancing while learning essential skills like coordination, balance, and rhythm.
Why Closed Viewing?
We designed our Pre-Level program to be a completely student-centered experience. That's why we are closed viewing during class times, keeping the studio a protected space to give our dancers the room to focus and learn while also developing independence. After decades of experience working with young dancers we have found that our littles most comfortably participate in class activities without the constant distraction of visitors and caregivers moving around and making noise inside the classroom. There are many types of dance programs available, and LDA's Pre-Level program is the best fit for dancers who are ready to dance and learn independently in their classes!
A Personal Welcome Tour for New Families:
Once your student is registered for classes we will contact you to set up a personal 15 minute welcome tour with our Studio Manager! We will show you the studio, go over any questions you might have, adjust your dancer’s schedule to make sure they’re in the right class for their skill level as needed, and set up your payment account.
Student Level Evaluation:
LDA does not provide trial classes. A dancer's first class will be considered her/his placement evaluation. If for any reason we believe your dancer is a better fit for another level we will be in contact with you to make schedule adjustments. If after your dancer's first class you, for whatever reason, do not wish to move forward with registration, your registration will be canceled and you will only be responsible to pay the single class rate for all classes taken. New students may not take class without liability and payment account forms complete.
