All Summer 2020 classes will begin online and transition into the

studio once the SMC guidelines support in-studio instruction

with multiple teachers and intermixing cohorts.

We are strictly following all CDC and SMC guidelines to keep all LDA students, families, and instructors safe and will transition online summer classes back to in-studio summer classes via small groups as soon as restrictions give way to clear and steady guidelines for in-person instruction.

Current restrictions do not allow groups over 12 or groups of students taught by more than one instructor (even in rotating shifts) in a 3 week time frame which does not support the type of multi-teacher curriculum that LDA and other dance studios follow. Current guidelines also do not allow students to participate in person if they are also registered in any other camp or activity within a 3 week time frame. As soon as these restrictions change we will provide the option for in-studio classes.

*Elite competitive students will be the first students to be offered in-person instruction followed by leveled classes in descending order from levels 6 through pre-ballet. All Summer classes will be simultaneously offered online even once we transition to small groups in-studio to support families who do not wish to return to in-person classes this session.

**Liv DanceArts is not interested in rushing this process but also recognizes that some of our families wish to get back into the studio as soon as possible. Our goal is to continue to prioritize a safe and nurturing environment that supports students, staff and the studio's longevity as a community program. Thank you for your continued support and patience as we navigate these complicated times ~ our commitment to your children is stronger than ever and we will always keep dancer interest and safety at the forefront of our administrative decision making processes.
